چکیده
In order to investigate the effects of allelo-pathic substances Conyza canadensis on seed germination and seedlings, this study was designed explore allelopathic water extract (CCE) pakchoi, spinach lettuce. Germination rates three crops (pakcholi, spinach, lettuce) during germination, root length, seedling height, fresh weight two (pakcholi were measured under different concentrations CCE treatment (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 g/L). The effect index also calculated. results showed that had a varying degree inhibitory rate seeds crops. Spinach lettuce have significant from C. canadensis. At higher concentration CCE, significantly decreased (P<0.01). After crop measured, It found but it promoting height "low promotion-high inhibition"

Allelopathy is one of the main factors limiting the plants growth. The present study investigated the effect of aqueous extract of leaves and fruit of Artemisia sieberi that is an important species for rangeland rehabilitation on seed germination and seedling growth of three alfalfa species (Medicago sativa cv. Nikshahri, Medicago polymorpha and Medicago scutellata cv. Robinson) in laboratory ...
متن کاملInhibitory effects of monoterpenes on seed germination and seedling growth.
Monoterpenes, the chemical constituents of essential oils found in plants, are known biologically active compounds. The present study was conducted to investigate the inhibitory effects of 30 monoterpenes including monoterpene hydrocarbons and oxygenated monoterpenes on seed germination and seedling growth of Amaranthus retroflexus, Chenopodium album and Rumex crispus under laboratory condition...
متن کاملNitrogen effects on seed germination and seedling growth
Recent evidence associates the persistence of invasive plant species with disturbance and fluctuations in distinct forms of mineral N in soils. We conducted soil and hydroponic experiments to investigate the influence of N form and availability on germination and seedling development of 2 invasive annual grasses, cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum) and medusahead (Taeniatherum caput-medusae) and 6 per...

Allelopathy is the direct or indirect harmful effect which one plant produces on another through the production of chemical compounds that escape into the environment. In the presence paper allelopathic relationships were determined in three cereals wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), oat (Avena sativa L.) and vegetable crops spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.), radish (Raphan...
